1985-1990
Terry trained in the insurance industry at Wausau Insurance Company (owned by Liberty Mutual today) and Jardine Insurance Brokers (owned by London based Jardine Matheson).

Terry founded Milne Scali & Company Insurance Services (MSC) in October of 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona, The agency was a start up company funded with $130,000. By the year end 1992 the combined agency had annualized sales of @$9 million and commission revenues of @ $1 million.

From 1998 through 2000 the agencies continued to grow without any acquisitions and through year end 2000 the combined revenues totaled @ $7.75 million.

Terry stayed with the company as President and CEO of the Insurance operations and joined the Board of Directors of BNCCORP. Terry acquired two additional Arizona agencies and opened three new offices in Minnesota, Colorado, and Utah from 12/31/03 through 7/1/04. By 3/1/05, when Terry resigned from the Board of Directors to pursue his own business interests, MSC had grown to over $210 million in sales and over $17 million in commission revenues with pretax net income in excess of 25% under Terry’s leadership.

Just as important, Terry established honest trusting relationships with employees and insurance company executives throughout the building process. Those relationships continue to be valuable and intact.

2/1/06 Terry acquired certain assets of both National Commercial Insurance & Surety Specialists, Inc.and Mike Lapre Insurance Agency. Mike Lapre & Terry merged these two agencies together to form Lapre Scali & Company Insurance Services, LLC.

Jason has spent his entire 20 year professional career in the payroll outsourcing field.  He began his career as a Sales Trainee with Compupay, then a startup company just 5 years in business with 400 clients and 2 operation centers in Florida.
Jason has spent his entire 20 year professional career in the payroll outsourcing field.He began his career as a Sales Trainee with Compupay, then a startup company just 5 years in business with 400 clients and 2 operation centers in .

 During his early part of his career with Compupay, Jason worked in Operations, Tax Services and Client Service where he had the opportunity to get an intimate understanding of all of these departments and later grew into a leadership role as Manager of Client Services.

 

In 1996, Compupay raised the capital necessary to expand and Jason was given General Manager Responsibilities in opening an office in Mid-Town Manhattan.  Spending most of his time training, managing and supporting a new sales team this office quickly became Compupay’s fastest growing market.  In 1999, Compupay acquired its west coast licensee in Phoenix Arizona with 280 Clients and 1 Sales Rep and asked Jason to head its West Coast Expansion as V.P. of West Coast Sales.  Seven years later Compupay’s West Coast has offices in Seattle, Sacramento/Fresno, Orange County, San Diego, Tucson, Phoenix and Chicago with over 8000 clients when Jason left Compupay in November 2006.  In addition to his Direct Leadership role in sales, Jason was responsible for Marketing and represented Sales in Product Development.
